IRATA Certification Extension due to COVID-19
IRATA has created an online system to allow IRATA technicians to apply for a temporary extension to their IRATA certification, which expired as a direct result of the COVID-19 outbreak and related government containment measures.
All IRATA technicians applying for a temporary extension to their IRATA certification are advised to read all of the application terms and conditions carefully. This will help IRATA process applications more efficiently and without unnecessary delay. To submit an application for extension, please visit this link: https://irata.org/page/c19ext-
It is important to note that only the IRATA technician named on the certificate can apply for the extension. Therefore, technicians must not ask someone else to apply on their behalf.
***IRATA is now accepting applications for a second round of extensions that will grant technicians another 60 days if approved. You can apply for your second extension 30 days before your first extension expires. Updated May 28, 2020.
