Rope Access L3 Supervisors

Location: Vancouver and lower mainland
Status: On call, hourly

We are looking for career-driven Rope Access Supervisors who are passionate about enhancing the rope access industry with Pacific Ropes. In this role, you'll be responsible for working with our Project Manager to lead and supervise a team of rope access technicians on various worksites. This position is on call and project based.

Ideally you will have:

  • L3 IRATA Certification. L2's are considered if you are close to upgrading your hours and possess the right qualities for this position.
  • OFA 3 Certification
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Attention to Detail
  • Supervisory experience
  • Passion for leading
  • Experience working on industrial worksites
  • Wide experience working with different trades and in different industries with rope access
  • Thorough understanding of health and safety procedures and practices
  • Follows procedures but also have the ability to see the bigger picture in order to help improve current processes
  • Strong conflict resolution skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Sense of humour
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Ability to maintain calm during stressful situations
  • Sense of humour
  • Strong knowledge of the IRATA Icop, TACS, and SPRAT Safe Practices
  • Strong knowledge of current Worksafe BC regulations
  • Open to learning and trying new things

Responsibilities include but aren't limited to:

  • Mobilizing and demobilizing contracts
  • Preparing safety and rigging paperwork for job sites
  • Liaising with clients on the job site
  • Communicating with the head office on job site updates
  • Managing and supervising your rope access teams to ensure safety and efficiency on site
  • Managing any conflict resolution within your teams
  • Working with the Project Manager to complete work scopes on time and within budget
  • Managing rope access equipment on site and in the warehouse
  • Attend client meetings when necessary
